|Course title||Preparing to Supervise Science (Part 2)|
Following attendance at the general workshop (Part 1), the purpose or aim of this workshop is to look at good practice in research supervision specifically in the sciences. The objectives are:
The workshop will include an introduction from the deputy head of faculty (postgraduate), presentations from supervisors in the faculty who have won awards for excellence in doctoral supervision, and a question and answer session.
Completion of this session means that your training can be recorded in the university’s register of supervisors.

This workshop is the first in a series of two. Please view the Training Course Booking System for the Part 1 workshops, which need to be attended first.
The Part 2 workshops are delivered specifically for Arts and Humanities; Social Sciences and Health, and Science.
