CONACyT - Durham Scholarships

As proud partners, Durham University and CONACyT collectively support applicants from Mexico on a range of programmes within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Health and the Faculty of Science. In addition to full fee payment, CONACyT also award stipend payments to successful applicants.

In addition, scholarship opportunities also exist through the jointly funded CONACyT-FUNED scheme.

  • Applicants for a CONACyT scholarship must hold an offer for study at Durham University at the point of applying for a CONACyT scholarship. Therefore, prospective applicants must first submit an academic application to Durham University, before submitting a scholarship application to CONACyT.

  • CONACyT stipulate priority subject areas; PhD applicants are invited as a priority, however Master’s applicants will also be considered.

  • CONACyT stipulate the terms and conditions of this scholarship, further information available on the CONACyT website.

  • CONACyT scholarships are non-repayable, however there may be a requirement to return to Mexico following the completion of studies.
