Guidance for Continuing Students
As a continuing student you will need to complete Enrolment and module registration in order to be a fully registered student. You will not need to have your identity verified as this step is initially completed when you are new student at Durham University. International students with previous required visa checks will need to have their visa and passport checked again.
Enrolment allows you to check your details with us and gives you the opportunity to make any necessary amendments such as to your address and contact details. You will receive an email to your Durham University email address inviting you to complete Enrolment through Durham University Online (duo).
Please see our Enrolment section for further information.
The registration period opens in June following the May exam period. Your department may have certain drop in sessions throughout June where you can discuss your module choices. Please see the Registration Timetable to see if this applies to your department. Depending on your programme, you may have to select optional modules alongside your core modules. Once chosen, these optional modules will need to be confirmed by your department. As long as you have also completed Enrolment, and any required visa and passport checks if applicable, you will then be fully registered for your next year of studies.
Please see our Module Registration section for further information.
The deadline for continuing students to complete module registration is 28 June 2019
