Academic Support

“All the staff are very approachable and are always ready to help… the lecturers and tutors really care about our learning and facilitating a good learning environment.”

Iroghama Iredia, former student

Academic guidance is provided by your academic advisor, strand leaders and by academic staff who provide subject-related tutorials at appropriate points.

Further support is provided by a virtual learning environment (DUO) which includes study guides and associated resources. Study guides are provided for each module, and indicate what you should learn and how this can be achieved. They provide learning outcomes, details of the programme of study, and guidance to support learning, including self-assessment.

You will also be allocated a Phase I Personal and Professional Development Tutor who is a clinician and will provide professional support.

“The staff make you feel important and that helps a great deal in my opinion… they make learning an enjoyable experience.”
