+How can I visit the University and/or the BA Sport, Exercise & Physical Activity team?

If you are generally interested in what campus life would be like in Durham, the University operates weekly ‘Campus Tours’ (Wednesday afternoons). After a brief introduction to the University, current students will take you around the major sites, and will be pleased to answer any questions you have about University life. The tours are very popular, so you will need to book your place in advance.

Alternatively, the BA Sport, Exercise & Physical activity team (in co-ordination with the Durham University Colleges) operate a series of open days for you to come and learn more about the programme in detail. Firstly, our Pre-Application Open Days run in June and September - and provide you with a taster of the programme and studying here at Durham.

If you receive an offer from us, you will be invited to attend a Post-application Open Day, which are run in March. These events are run to give you further information about the programme, and to provide you with the opportunity of visiting your chosen College with the opportunity to stay overnight. It is hoped that this event will assist you in making the final decision about where you want to go to study your undergraduate degree.

The day will be quite informal, and will allow you the opportunity to ask us questions about the course, and wider Durham University life. We strongly encourage you to attend this event if we make you an offer.

The BA Sport, Exercise & Physical Activity team do not conduct one-off visits by interested applicants. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate drop-in visits, and will strictly operate pre-arranged visits by overseas students only.
