Respect Working Group
The Respect Working Group existed between October 2020 and October 2021. Chaired by the Director of Human Resources, this group comprised key colleagues with operational responsibility for the actions arising from the Respect Commission Report recommendations. The vast majority of the recommendations have now been implemented and, to faciliate the identification and planning of the next steps, along with addressing the last few recommendations, the Working Group has now ceased. Key colleagues now come together as a Project Board, providing direction for the work and a Project Team, actioning the work.
About the Group
The Working Group comprised nine key colleagues who were operationally responsible for the actions arising from the Recommendations. In addition, a Student Representative, Project Manager and Administrator sat on the Group to provide input and support for the work as it progressed.
The Group met monthly for one year and reported on progress quarterly to the Oversight Group.
