Men’s Voices: Stepping out of the box exhibition

Caroline Dower, Head of Durham Univesrity Counselling Service, will be joining two other panel speakers for a thought-provoking panel discussion on how mental health can be affected by gender norms such as the term masculinity. Or is mental health gender neutral? Following the Panel Talk, Durham based Gong-Fu Poets founder, Tony Gadd hosts a Spoken Word Creative Writing workshop allowing you to explore your thoughts on gender norms in the North East.

Arts company Changing Relations are showcasing an original artistic exhibition exploring traditional masculinity; featuring textiles, poetry and sound recordings that consider how destructive social norms and stereotypes shape us and our mental health. Entry to the exhibition is free.
