Traditional Crafts Weekend

15th September 2018, 10:00 to 16th September 2018, 16:00, Botanic Garden

Silversmith Les Howe and his wife Vivienne, an artist and card designer, will demonstrate their craft skills in the Botanic Garden.

Les takes much of his inspiration from the History of Durham, in particular St Cuthbert and the Lindisfarne Gospels. Viv works with traditional paper crafts such as embossing, quilling, parchment work and many more techniques. Participation included in the normal admission price.
