Sedimentology Research Group

A research group of the Department of Earth Sciences.

Group Statement

Our research incorporates all aspects of the sedimentary system, from source to sink and from micro- to macro-scales. The group integrates state-of-the-art sedimentological, geochemical and geophysical techniques to understand fundamental and applied aspects of sedimentary rocks and ancient environments. Our research group is supported by UK research councils, by other UK governmental funds and by the oil industry worldwide.
