Paulo’s research and teaching are focused on the intersection of sustainability, innovation, social entrepreneurship and system change. He holds a PhD from the University of Cambridge, funded by the Gates Cambridge Trust. His prior experiences include working as a lecturer at FDC, as a researcher at Cambridge, as an entrepreneur in Brazil, and as a consultant of projects for several large companies, non-profits, government agencies, and the OECD. He received the IBM Business of Government Award, the Green Talents Award from the German government, and the Oldham Award from the University of Sussex, besides diverse sources of funding for applied research and innovation.
