Thesis Title: Trust and Trustworthiness in Imbalanced Markets

Matthew gained a First-Class BA (Hons) degree from the University of Nottingham in Economics with Hispanic Studies and MSc with Distinction in Experimental Economics from Durham University. Prior to undertaking a PhD, he worked at the Japanese bank Nomura in their London office. He receives doctoral funding through the ESRC from the National Productivity Investment Fund (2017-21), which aims to address research challenges identified in the UK Government’s Industrial Strategy.
