Senior Research Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering/The Leverhulme Trust, 2013/2014. Physics Degree (University of Abidjan, Ivory Coast). PhD in Electronics (Université Blaise Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand, France in 1996). Postdoctoral research- University of Ulster (Thin amorphous carbon films) and -University of Surrey (Microfabrication). 

He is a Reader in Nanotechnology & Microsystems at Durham University, with interests in nanostructured materials, micro and nanofabrication, i.e. the integration of nanomaterials (carbon nanotubes and semiconductor nanowires) in device fabrication. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and held a Senior Research Fellowship awarded by the Royal Academy of Engineering/The Leverhulme Trust. He is contributing to six European Framework programme FP7 projects, representing more than €8.5 million. He coordinates two Marie Curie Actions international consortia on semiconductor nanowires involving several academic and industrial partners across Europe.
