Evelyn is an experienced researcher and communicator with an undergraduate degree in Social Anthropology and a Masters in International Development from LSE. She previously has worked as
  • Research Associate at IPPR North (the dedicated think tank for the north of England),
  • Research Manager at Crisis (the UK homelessness charity) and as
  • Research Associate at Geoffrey Payne and Associates (an international development consultancy focused on informal settlements in Urban areas).
Her research spans a wide range of topics including community engagement and participatory methods, urban development, gender equality, deprivation, housing, homelessness and regeneration.

Evelyn leads on helping the Institute reach internal and external stakeholders and manages the DEI website, DEI magazine and other publications, as well as producing publicity materials, policy briefs, and facilitating new links with Policy makers and engagement events. She is also provides support to researchers for developing new external partnerships and research opportunities.
