Find Funding

There are a number of ways to search for current funding opportunities.

The RIS Bulletin is a useful tool for finding details of current and upcoming funding calls. A Bulletin is available for each Faculty to help direct you to the most relevant news and developments.

Grantfinder is an online research funding opportunities database. It has both a search and alert function as well as the option to save and share funding opportunities.

Research and Innovation Services also have a twitter feed @DUResOffice. Follow us for funding opportunity announcements and other useful updates.

There are a number of external research funders that are commonly searched for when sourcing funding opportunities. Further details of these can be found on the Research Funders section of this website.

The University has an internal pot of funding (Grant Seedcorn) available to support high-quality, competitive research proposals. For more information on how to make an application and guidance please click here.

RIS also host a number of visits from funders throughout the year which provide an excellent opportunity to meet the funders and learn about upcoming schemes. Details of funders visits can be found here.

In addition to funding for research purposes there are also various sources of Impact and Engagement funding.
