DURHAM ENERGY INSTITUTE - science and society

DCRE is one of four Centres and Institutes that make up the Durham Energy Institute, founded in 2009.

DEI is our umbrella energy grouping in Durham, and provides a gateway to research across the board in energy – from oil and gas, renewables, bio-energy, and the place of energy in society. All energy scientists in the University are members of DEI, and many are also members of one of the four member Centres and Institutes.
