  • Have an advanced knowledge of the structures and requirements of some models commonly used for optimisation, forecasting and other tasks within the business context.

Modes of Teaching, Learning and Assessment and how these contribute to the learning outcomes of the module

  • Learning outcomes will be met through a combination of lectures, groupwork, case studies, practical (computing) classes and discussion, supported by guided reading. The summative assignment will test students' knowledge and understanding of business models and their ability to apply relevant techniques to the analysis of a business problem.
