Level 1 tutors' briefing

Briefing at which the student induction process will be explained. We will also answer tutors' queries regarding students' module choices, etc. There will then be a general discussion about the role of the Level 1 tutor and the aims of the tutorials, including reinforcing students' conceptual understanding and training them to use maths in a physics context. Please note: this meeting is for Level 1 tutors only.

The poster sessions, in which the computing projects of the Level 3 students will be displayed, will be held during teaching weeks 13 and 14. The authors of the posters will be present to answer any questions about their individual posters. Level 1 students are warmly invited to tour the display and to talk to the individual poster authors about the subjects of their displays. There are four separate sessions: on Tuesday and Thursday mornings of both weeks.
