Lisa Whiting

“I was a student on the Philosophy single honours programme but also took modules in psychology, sociology, and law. In my final year I undertook a dissertation exploring the critical relationship between social psychology and PF Strawson’s theory of blame. The course ensures students have a solid grounding of key areas in philosophy, such as ethics, epistemology and philosophy of mind, whilst allowing individuals to pursue their personal interests, which for me was applied ethics and advanced logic. I hope to work in the area of public policy which has been made possible through the critical research and analytical skills I developed throughout my degree.”
