Aurora
Aurora is a leadership development programme for those who identify as women. Run by Advance HE and in partnership with universities, the programme is aimed at enabling more women to develop the leadership side of their careers and so address the underrepresentation of women at senior levels in the sector. WHEN, the Women’s Higher Education Network
WHEN is a national network for all women working in higher education which aims to speed up gender equality.
WHEN brings women from across the sector together, empowering them to advance their careers and break down barriers that inhibit them from reaching their full potential.
Membership of WHEN provides:
- access to academic articles, interviews, stories, perspectives, career profiles and pathways and news relevant to speeding up gender equality in the HE sector
- an online community where experiences can be shared
- online and face to face, free and paid events take place throughout the membership year. Members receive priority booking and are the first to know about events. A member discount of up to 50% where there is a charge.
