Aspiring Strategic Leaders programme

A second iteration of the successful Aspiring Strategic Leaders programme from Richard Sharpe at Elementa Consulting will commence in May 2021 - is aimed at Grade 8/9 colleagues who wish to develop strategic leadership skills and awareness of the HE sector both nationally and internationally. The programme consists of three workshops:

Workshop 1 – Set Direction

Workshop 2 – Engage Commitment

Workshop 3 – Adapt to Complexity.

Delegates are asked to complete a nomination form and have this auothrised by their Head of Section. Places will be restricted from each Faculty / Colleges Division / Professional Service areas to ensure there is a diverse mix of staff from across the institution.

Applicants must be able to commit to and attend ALL programme workshops.

One to one coaching session to facilitate the feedback from the 360 and agree an action plan for further development

*The cohort will be split into 2 groups, each group will attend a half-day session on each of the above dates, either a morning session (09:00 – 12:30) or an afternoon session (13:30 – 17:00). This will be fully explained at the induction event.
