Dr Bingham Zheng awarded the Honorary Fellowship by Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL)

Dr Binghan Zheng has been conferred the title of Honorary Fellowship of Chartered Institute of Linguists (HonFCIL).

As the most prestigious title admitted by CIoL, Honorary Fellowship is awarded to world-leading linguists who have given an enormous contribution to the language learning and research, distinction as a role model and ambassador of linguists and/or highly distinguished service to language professions.

The title awardees include the President of CIoL Richard Hardie, the Chair of APPG on Modern Languages Baroness Jean Coussins (Crossbencher, FRSA), and British Linguist Professor David Crystal (OBE, FBA).
