We are a confidential service and ask that individuals using the service sign our confidentiality agreement. Everything discussed throughout the mediation is kept private. Our mediators may take notes however these are destroyed at the end of the process; the only records which remain are the referral form, confidentiality agreement and any agreement made by the individuals as part of the mediation. The Mediation Service will retain a copy of this agreement for one year in order to support individuals with further mediation if needed.
The Mediation service will report to the person or persons who made the referral to let them know that mediation has taken place but will not disclose any of the information discussed during the meetings.
