Library Refurbishments 2013/14

15/9/13 to 17/2/14 Closure and refurbishment of Level 4 central section of the Bill Bryson Library. Please note that access to the postgraduate researchers (PGR) room in the West Wing will be via the West Wing staircase only. If any postgraduate researcher is unable to use the stairs please contact the Help and Information desk and alternative arrangements will be made. Access to Level 4 of the East Wing will be via the East Wing stairs and the lift on the North side of the building. View a floorplan of the Level 4 layout from August 2013.

The refurbishment is in response to staff and student concerns over the heating, lighting and ventilation systems within the main part of the building, and this refurbishment work is intended to replace old systems and resolve the problems. Please note that there will be periods when areas of the library are without air conditioning or temperature control. If you are uncomfortable please move to another area of the library.
