Finding Information

Searching for, and finding, information is easy.

Searching effectively and efficiently, and finding the most relevant sources of information you need requires:

  • an investment of your time
  • an awareness of the range of resources and tools available to you
  • the knowledge of additional search techniques at your disposal to make the most of those resources and tools.

The information on these pages is provided as a companion to training offered by the library on the Researcher Devlopment Programme, and training provided by Academic Liaison Librarians directly to departments.
