Durham University

Let's Network

Higher Education Policy Network

The HE Policy Network exists for the benefit of all university staff (PSS and academic) who are interested in or affected by Higher Education policy. The aim is to equip staff to understand, engage with, and respond to changes in the HE policy landscape.

The Network will provide the opportunity to:

  • Share existing knowledge of HE policy
  • Co-ordinate the gathering of new HE policy knowledge
  • Discuss the implications of HE policy on Durham University

We aim to meet 3-4 times per year, with sessions including a mix of internal and external speakers, presenting on a range of topical issues – some at the speaker’s discretion, and others in response to requests from the network’s members. There will always be time for discussion and questions, to allow us to dig down into the implications for us here at Durham.

Next Session - 'Is Brexit bad news for UK HE?' Thom Brooks, Head of Durham Law School

Date: 19th October, 3-4pm

Venue: Engineering Building, E102
