Events, whether they be conferences, workshops, or lectures are helpful in supporting AUA members to network and enhance their opportunities to learn from other members and institutions.
The following links detail the events that are organised at Durham, across the Yorkshire and North East region, and nationally.
The AUA Durham Network organises an annual programme of events to support members in developing a better understanding of the sector; the sharing of information and best practice, and to aid members in their continuing professional and personal development.
Durham University is part of the Yorkshire and North East Regional Network. Alyson Bird (Branch Advocate) is also the Yorkshire and North East Regional Network Deputy Co-ordinator and works in partnership with Sam Bayley (the Network Coordinator) to foster links with the local institutions to create a useful and thriving network of ideas, practice and support.
The AUA organises an annual programme of seminars, workshops and conferences for its members and details of which can be found on their website: http://www.aua.ac.uk/events.aspx. AUA Members also receive information on AUA events through the monthly AUA Update bulletin.
