The Chair of each subject Board of Examiners is responsible for ensuring that appropriate member(s) of academic staff are available, by telephone for the duration of each examination which is the responsibility of that subject board. The name of this person should be made available to the examination contact within their department.

4. Any action taken by a member of staff so designated should be reported:

a. immediately to Student Registry so that appropriate action might be taken in relation to any students taking the examination in a special room;

b. immediately to the chair of the subject Board of Examiners for communication to internal markers and, where appropriate, external examiner(s);

c. in writing on the Invigilator's Report Form.
