How to arrive
When coming to Durham, most people choose to fly to Newcastle International Airport. This is the largest airport in the area and is approximately 30 minutes away from Durham and 70 – 90 minutes from Stockton by car. You may not be able to get a direct flight to Newcastle, but there will be many connecting flights from various airports in the UK.
To get through airport immigration as smoothly as possible, we recommend that you carry a copy of all of your documents with you. Documents include: visa information, flight information, your letter of confirmation from the University
