Postcolonialism in the Middle Ages Workshop

17th January 2012, 11:00 to 15:00, Tristram Room, St. John's College

Tuesday, January 17th, 2012: Dr. Helen Young will be joining MEMSA for a half-day workshop from 11am-3pm in the Tristram Room at St. John's College. The workshop will discuss debates regarding whether or not postcolonial theories can be applied to studies in the Middle Ages. We will also be discussing some examples of how postcolonialism has been incorporated into medieval discourse, and how issues of periodization can be overcome.

Please email Meghan Glass for readings and to register for the workshop. More details can be found on the MEMSA website.
