Seminar - Tapestry of the fishing net: A tale of the Boleshwar fishing community

Md Nadiruzzaman (Nadir), a research postgraduate student in the Department of Geography who is supported by the Christopher Moyes Memorial Foundation, will present a seminar entitled 'Tapestry of the fishing net: A tale of the Boleshwar fishing community'.  The presentation will consider the vulnerability of the Boleshwar fishing community, who are in the front line of climatic risks and are also threatened by a particular kind of fishing net practice.  Abstract available.
