Training & Development
An e learning package is available on DUO for both reviewers and reviewees. The training focusses on the purpose of the ADR process and how to prepare for the ADR discussion (from both a reviewer’s and a reviewee’s perspective).
To access the e-learning please log into duo and look for the entry ‘Annual Development Review’ in the list of My Organisations on the front page.
Training and development workshops are available for both Reviewers and Reviewees.
The Reviewer workshop focuses on developing the key skills of delivering feedback, setting objectives and discussing development needs and will enable Reviewers to plan, prepare and conduct ADRs effectively. This workshop is 3 hours in duration.
The Reviewee workshop, which is 2 hours long, focuses on how to prepare for the Annual Development Review.
The workshop looks at the self-review, preparation how the Realising Your Potential Approach integrates with the review process and how an individual needs to consider their priorities for the future and any development needs prior to the review meeting.
If you attend the Reviewer training there is no need to also attend the reviewee workshops as there is an overlap between the two workshops.
