Car and Motorcycle Parking

Parking at Durham University is restricted and permits are required for both cars and motorcycles. The University at the moment does not charge for parking but reserves the right to charge for parking in the future.

The University has a Parking Policy for staff, students and visitors, a copy of which can be found on the Estates and Buildings Car Parking website. Full details are also available on the same webstie regarding the applciation process for a car parking permit.

There are several spaces around the University estate reserved for Motorcycles; close to the Ebsworth Building at Queen's Campus, Stockton and outside the Engineering Building and Mountjoy Centre (Holly Wing) on Mountjoy (Science Site) in Durham.
