Third Party Complaints Process
The procedure applies to complaints to the University raised by a third party that are not covered by other University complaints procedures. This includes but is not restricted to complaints about University facilities, corporate policies and data protection.
The procedure is overseen by the University Secretary's Office.
Who is it for?
Individuals or organisations who are not members of the University (or acting on behalf of a member of the University), e.g. members of the public, funders or partner organisations (where no escalation route is specified in their contract), should use this process if they wish to make a complaint to the University.
For other groups, alternative procedures should be used as follows:
- Students, or representatives acting on the behalf of students, should use the Complaint Procedure for Students. For further information on student complaints please see the following webpage or contact the Student Conduct Office .
- Staff should follow the appropriate HR procedure.
