Landscape Research Group Dissertation Prize 2008

Georgina Bennett’s dissertation entitled ‘Paraglacial slope adjustment, landform succession and landscape evolution following recent glacier retreat, Sandfellsjökull, Iceland’ obtained first prize for original academic research.

Hamish Reid’s dissertation ‘An Investigation into the Wind Generation Potential of the Industrial Areas of England’ received highly commended in the category of projects addressing a practical problem.
