British-Polish young scientists programme

(12 September 2005)

The British Council invites applications under its British-Polish young scientists programme, to enable participants to make one or more research visits to partner institutions in the UK (for Polish participants) or to Polish institutions (for UK participants). Grants are for travel and living costs.

Applications are welcomed from young (ie early career) researchers in pure, applied and social sciences. Candidates should either be studying for their PhD, or have completed it within the last five years. Social science applications must be in the fields funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. Mixed science-social science applications are eligible.
