Post-Doctoral Research Associate - Ref: 2161

The Department of Geography at Durham University wishes to appoint a two year full time post-doctoral research associate to work on a collaborative industry-funded research project between the University of Durham and mining company Cleveland Potash Limited. The overall aim of the project is to better understand the impacts of deep mining on the evolution of the North Yorkshire coastline, through the collection and interpretation of high-resolution environmental monitoring data. The project is led by Principal Investigators Professor D N Petley and Dr N J Rosser, working in partnership with Cleveland Potash Ltd.

Salary: £27,466 per annum
