Postdoctoral Research Associate - Ref: 1767

The Department of Geography at Durham University wishes to appoint a full time post-doctoral research associate to work on a research project entitled 'Marine geological investigations of past flow and stability of a major Greenland ice stream in the Late Quateranry' awarded by NERC to Dr C. O’Cofaigh. We are looking for a post-doctoral research associate who is interested in the reconstruction of ice-sheet history on millenial timescles from the investigation of marine sediment cores. The post is full time and fixed term for 15 months on the Grade 7 scale with a start date of c. 1st June 2007.

Salary: £26,666 per annum.
