Research Assistant and Network Co-ordinator - Ref: 1902

We require a Research Assistant and Network Co-ordinator to contribute to a research project on “Reframing State-Citizen Relationships in a Time of Austerity”. This is a one year project funded by the AHRC as part of the Connected Communities Programme. The project will examine how the roles of state and citizen in community empowerment are being changed in the context of the ‘Big Society’ and ‘Localism’ agendas in England and the Community Empowerment Bill in Scotland.

The successful applicant will work closely with Professor Joe Painter and other members of the research team to advance the project aims and objectives.
