Distinguished International Visitor: Professor Katherine McKittrick

We are delighted to welcome Professor Katherine McKittrick, who will be in the Department this week as a guest of our Distinguished International Visitors programme.

Professor McKittrick is based in the Department of Gender Studies, Queen’s University (Kingston) and specialises in black studies, anti-colonial studies, cultural geographies and gender studies. She is author of Demonic Grounds: Black Women and the Cartographies of Struggle (University of Minnesota Press 2006) and editor of Sylvia Wynter: On Being Human as Praxis (Duke University Press; 2015). She is currently editor of Antipode.
