Two Durham Geographers Receive Awards from the Royal Geographical Society

Two Durham geographers receive awards from the Royal Geographical Society in recognition of their work.
Professor Harriet Bulkeley received the Back Award for 'applied or scientific geographical studies which make an outstanding contribution to the development of national or international public policy' in recognition of her 'contributions to the shaping of international policy on climate change'.
Professor David Evans received the Busk Medal for 'conservation research or for fieldwork abroad in geography' in recognition of his 'excellence and originality in the study of glacial landscapes and processes and empowering the next generation'.
