Student Life

Being a Foundation Centre student at Durham University

The most important aspect of being accepted onto a foundation year course as part of a Durham University degree programme is that from the first day of your studies you are a full member of the university and can enjoy all of the opportunities and support within the institution. This includes being a member of a college (whether you live in or not), having guaranteed college accommodation during your first year with us, having access to all extra-curricular activities, from sports to the Arts to the clubs and societies, and access to all support services, such as those that aid students with disabilities. Please find to the right some links to help you to discover what life could be like for you on a foundation year course.
