No Smoking Policy

The Policy

Smoking is not permitted in any part of University premises, entrances, or vehicles used for University business (except sole use, privately owned) at any time, by any person regardless of their status or business with the University.

The No-Smoking Policy covers all types of burnt and smoked products including cigarettes, cigars, tobacco and non tobacco products in whatever format.

Smoking Zones

Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking areas.

Conference delegates and guests will be asked to leave the premises/evicted if they are caught smoking outside of the designated smoking area. We reserve the right to charge for any associated cleaning costs in the case of failure to comply with this policy.

Reporting Procedure

If any person witnesses an individual smoking outside of the designated area this must be reported immediately to a college officer, head of department or duty porter.
