Ghostly Readings, Reading Ghosts
Join us – if you dare – for a free evening of Ghostly Readings. Refreshments will be provided. All welcome.
Readings (of the literary rather than séance variety) will be conducted by Paul Bachelor, Michael O’Neill, Vidyan Ravinthiran, and Stephen Regan. Held in conjunction with the current IAS- sponsored lecture series on Ghosts: The Evidence of Spirits, the readers will draw both on their own work, as well as the poems and passages of others, all of which are either about ghosts or in some way relate to the idea and/or representation of spectral presences.
This event is sponsored by the Centre for Visual Arts and Culture, theCentre for Poetry and Poetics, and the Institute of Advanced Study.
