UKCAT Research Capacity Building

A research project of the School of Education.

This project, in collaboration with the School of Medicine Pharmacy & Health, has a total funding of £179,991. The School of Education part of that total funding is £22,846

In this project we explore ways to implement aspects of Dynamic Testing into the UK Clinical Aptitude Test (UKCAT), which will enable the assessment of cognitive flexibility and learning potential. The inclusion of these concepts into the test will allow a better, i.e. fairer, differentiation between applicants and will subsequently contribute to broadening participation.

The project is funded by the following grant.

  • Ukcat - Outline Research Proposal (capacity Building Tender) (£22846.00 from UKCAT)
