Figure 3.7: On the western fringe of Wainfleet All Saints town (Market Place (A) for scale) is a series of linear enclosures with thick walls. Many, but not all are nearly square and contain a 'gathering' of solid material, with a high reflectance. The enclosure beyond the bowling green (B) is in fact a 'quilt' of smaller features.
