Staff profile

I am currently persuing a Ph.D. in History of Art and Architecture funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council's Northern Bridge scholarship. I am an alumna of the Università degli Studi di Padova, where I obtained a three-year Bachelor degree in Economic Law in July 2012. During the academic year 2012/2013 I was both a visiting student at the University of Trento and a postgraduate student at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. There I completed my first two-year Master of Arts in Economics and Management of Arts and Cultural activities in March 2015 and my second two-year Master of Arts in History of Arts and Conservation of Artistic Heritage in July 2017. My first MA dissertation was focused on Digital Humanities, particularly on how modern technology has changed the methodology applied to the study of history of art. My second MA dissertation instead explored the art patronage of the Archiduke Charles of Habsburg, future Emperor Charles VI, while his court was in Barcelona at the time of the War of Spanish Succession.

My research investigates the artistic production created by the community of Spanish artists studying in Rome between 1832 and 1874.
