Biography

Steven is the Co-Ordinator at South College and is responsible for administration within College and supports the Principal to enable the delivery of an outstanding student experience. He assists with the admissions process, the delivery of the college development programme, the well-being programme, social and scholarly events, and with SCR matters. He most recently worked in administration for the Life of Breath project at the Institute for Medical Humanities at Durham University.

He holds a PhD in English Literature in the field of Literary Theory from Durham University, a MA in Critical Culture and Theory (English Studies) from the University of Leeds, and a BA in English from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Prior to studying and working in higher education Steven was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, serving in both the Marine Corps Security Forces and the Infantry.
