I am a geospatial data scientist who aims to understand better the evolution of hydrological extremes (floods and droughts) and their response to changing environmental conditions. My core objective is to unravel the implications of these extremes for provident water and risk management by linking diverse environmental simulation techniques for predicting potential hydrological systems under projected environmental scenarios.

In 2023, I joined the ECOMIX project as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. This project aims to assess the impact of climatic and land use changes on catchment hydrology, water quality and biodiversity in North Yorkshire. My responsibilities involve simulating catchment hydrology and nutrient transport for probabilistic climate and land use scenarios

My doctoral research, conducted at Durham University's Department of Geography and the Institute of Hazard, Risk, and Resilience, concentrated on predicting the evolution of flood hazards in the Himalayan Karnali River in Nepal. I developed a comprehensive modelling framework that integrates hydrological, morphological, and hydrodynamical models to predict interactions between flood hazards and topographic floodplain evolution based on projected climatic conditions.
