Dialogue Signposts submission

The content deadline for the weekly Signposts email is 5pm on a Thursday.

We reserve the right to edit content submitted to Dialogue Signposts in line with our editorial policy and we will not include content which does not align with these guidelines.

Marketing and Communications may wish to include your item on the University's Community web pages, at www.durham.ac.uk/community, which promote news and events involving the University that may be of interest to the wider local community.




  • Need to know - business critical messages, emergencies (e.g. IT downtime, Road closures, Health and safety messages)
  • Latest news and updates - operational messages(e.g. Town Hall meetings, HR changes, consultation events)

This field should contain the first few lines of your Signposts item. This content is what will appear in the Signposts email and on the webpage.

This field should contain the rest of the Signposts item n.b. there is no need to repeat the first few lines. This content will be accessible by clicking the link appearing 'More about....' in the Dialogue Signposts email and on the webpage.
