Earn £25 for keeping a diary of your autobiographical memories

(27 February 2020)

We are seeking participants aged 18-35 or 60-80 years old for a new research study. The study involves 1) a brief (10-minute) initial interview, which can be done over the phone, and 2) keeping a diary of autobiographical memories (memories of events from your life) as they occur over 8 days, in the comfort of your everyday environment. Completion of the initial interview enables you to enter a prize draw for a £20 Amazon voucher and ALL participants who complete the 8-day diary study will receive £25. Contact our team at memory.study@durham.ac.uk for more information.

Due to the requirements of the study, we are unfortunately unable to include as participants any individuals who have:

  1. Suffered a brain injury or severe head injury
  2. A neurological condition that may contribute to cognitive impairment
  3. Cochlear implants for hearing impairment
  4. A history of severe depression or anxiety
  5. A history of alcohol or substance abuse
